Meeting Jen page one

Alright there is an artist on DA some of you may know
this is her Jenny M. Stead who also owns the web comic Ninja'd if you haven't checked it out nows a good time =3

just recently on Oct. 3rd there was the 24 hour comic challenge. She had entered it and pwned it with 4 hours to spare.

Lol well I had found out bout the challenge and was excited bout it in general. I hadn't signed up though because I'd found out late so no time to prepare for such a thing however I was able to convince my parents to letting me go to spectate the event. I was very very VERY exctied xDDDD
It was just really cool to me call me a dork if you want you guys know how I am

anyway I also had found out that Jen was going to be doing the challenge the same place that I was going (the competition is like all over the states and even out of the cuontry) and she was there when I was there

whats cooler is that before hand I had asked her if I could interview her for my school senior project and she had agreed. Mind you I wasn't going to interview her while the challenge was going on A)She was busy of course and B) I'd come for the fun of it! lolz

But I was still very surprised seeing her there First introductions/impressions are always so weird with me i spaz and all that stuff and she's also the first person I've met in real life that I've met through the internetz so that was another reason I was all like "hubba wha?"

after saying hello we chatted and I watched her work and watched other people there work as well. It was just a really cool experience in general. I'm hoping next year I can enter the challenge

anyway in the end when I got home I got out my sketch book and began to draw and i ended up creating a comic about meeting Jen It's only three pages but It's pretty cool

I know the lines aren't straight I tried to free hand the entire thing not smart nishi not smart at all lol

anyway some of this is of course not 100% accurate because I wanted to make it funny xDDD but his is how I saw our meeting each other
I'm just hoping you all get a kick out of it

also wouldn't mind some feed back either on the comic in general lolz though I don't need to be told to start usuing a ruler from now on lol
